Ways to decorate
6 ways to light your home for Diwali
- 01
Diya-gold roofline
Warm white mixed with marigold bulbs along every roofline and peak — the classic Diwali glow, visible from down the street.
- 02
An entrance fit for Lakshmi Puja
Frame the front door and light the threshold so the entrance is the brightest part of the house on the main night.
- 03
Light the rangoli
Low pathway lights around the doorstep turn your rangoli into the centrepiece, and keep guests' footing safe after dark.
- 04
Balconies & railings
Townhouse or condo? Railing strands and balcony outlines give you the full effect without a roofline.
- 05
Marigold garlands over the door
Toran-style garland lighting in saffron and gold above the doorway — festive in photos, warm in person.
- 06
Keep them up for Christmas
Add Christmas to your Season Pass and we swap the colours instead of reinstalling — one install, two festivals.

FAQ
Diwali lighting questions
When should my Diwali lights go up?+
We aim to have every Diwali install done a few days before Dhanteras. Diwali week books out first, so request your design call early.
When do you take them down?+
On the date you choose — most families keep them up through Bhai Dooj. Or keep them up and switch to Christmas colours with the Season Pass.
Can you light a condo or townhouse?+
Yes. Balconies, railings, windows and entrances work beautifully, and we'll check what your building allows on the design call.
How much does it cost?+
Seasonal installs start from $270 per season and most homes land between $500 and $1,600, depending on roofline length and what you light. Use the builder for an instant estimate — we confirm a fixed price on your free design call.
How long does an install take?+
Most homes are done in a few hours, the same day. Larger homes or full-property designs can take a little longer — we'll tell you on the design call.
Do you offer payment plans?+
Ask us on your design call — we'll find an option that works for bigger or multi-occasion installs.
